SX-70 // PX680 Film
This trip to Palm Springs has been amazing. The sunsets have been hot pink and blue, the weather in the 90’s, we’ve been laying out in hammocks and chairs by the pool, drinking blood orange cocktails and eating breakfast food for dinner, listening to records with the doors wide open, taking photos in the desert, wind and sand whipping our legs and faces, watching windmills at sunset and exploring random parts of town we had no idea existed.
It’s been fun to say the very least.
Here’s a few photos from the SX-70.
Also, we were listening to this song on repeat in our room: Band Of Horses / Infinite Arms- Factory
It’ll forever remind me of this trip!
I was aiming to post a wedding blog up today but life had other plans. Laptop died on me this morning, so I spent most of my day on the phone and in the Apple Store trying to get it fixed. Luckily I backed up most of my files and have another laptop to edit on, but I’ve been transferring photos all night and trying to rebuild the actions I made in Photoshop. WHEW! What a day.
I tried out the PX 680 First Flush film above. This was from the second pack because the first pack didn’t come out at all.
Looking forward to getting a bunch of things done tomorrow! Hope everyone is having a good week.
Oh, and I just got some prints in the mail today. Was thinking of giving this small print away. If you’re interested, leave a comment and tell me hi. I’ll pick a random person on Thursday. Would be nice to know who reads this blog as well : ).
Spent 4th of July relaxing and enjoying the view of LA. It was much needed and nice to be away from the city life.
Our 2 year wedding anniversary is coming up next week Monday, so we’re taking a mini vacation out of the city. Hopefully the weather will be nice to us! I have my fingers crossed.
Also, my birthday (eek!) is at the end of this month, so I’m looking forward to all things chocolaty.
I’ve been meaning to post these PX600 Silvershade photos for a while now.
I had a lot of fun with this pack. It was an adventure trying to get a good image, without exposing it completely to the sunlight. After 3 wasted photos, I sorta figured out what way would work best for me.
Also: Just got in my 600 edge cut. Lately though, I haven’t been going anywhere fun. IT’S SUMMER! What am I waiting for?? I know that’s what you’re thinking.
Hopefully i’ll have something exciting to share soon.
Here’s a song, in the meantime.
