Hi there!

I feel like it’s been forever since i’ve updated. I’ve been busy and really, just taking the worst photos imaginable. I guess I’m in one of those phases again. Shot off a bunch of Polaroids and wasted them allll. Well, all except for this lone grapefruit. The weird thing is, I feel really inspired but when I take a photo, it comes out all wrong. I think I need to take a break. Relax. Enjoy. Read a book. Clear my mind a little.

On a happier note: This weekend is July 4th! Fireworks, food, fun! Do you have anything planned? I’m so excited to go out and enjoy the warm pretty weather.

A Song for Wednesday.

i seem to be in this same rut. i will feel completely on, and totally inspired, take 4 rolls of film and get them back and think… wait, that is not the way i framed it, or focused- this is not how “I” saw the photo. it’s frustrating. sadly, i can’t seem to put the cameras down.

yes, i’m feeling the exact same way. hopefully we get out of it soon, although i’m loving the yashica photos you’ve been posting!

      have a great weekend!

Hope your inspiration comes back soon, I’ve lost mine for so long so I try to see more and more photos just to gain some inspiration. I also wasted my last pack of 600 last week and I feel terrible. Wanna try px 680 badly but the price is oh so high.

    • July 1, 2011

maybe the weekend will bring us some inspiration. i picked up some px680 a few weeks back and the first pack didn’t come out at all. second pack was okay though, i think i need a lot more practice! i’ve seen some really amazing photos shot on px680ff so i know it’s possible. trial and error i guess.

      have a happy weekend! : ))

i know exactly how you feel. it’s almost like i forgot how to use a camera :( i will say that dear leila has inspired me tons to start a blog… i’m just scared i won’t have anything to post. i just ordered a bunch of instant film but i hesitate to load my camera … fearful i’ll waste all my film. i hope you have a nice break and that it leads to a grand idea! happy 4th!

I definitely know this feeling, but this capture of the grapefruit is well worth it! Gorgeous.

Looks like I’m going to have to find some film soon for my polaroid!
