More b&w film photos from that drive we took along the coast.

Feeling a little stuck in my own routine. Thinking of maybe looking for a class or workshop to take to keep my mind busy/distracted. Do you ever feel like that? Bored of your own photos or art or cooking or daily routines? Trying to find a way to break out of my comfort zones, but I’m realizing it’s a little harder than I thought.

Liking this song.

Thinking of trying this adorable little diy project that I found over on Ida’s blog (via design*sponge)

    dear leila,
    Hello from Malaysia :)*

and I really love the first photo, it is amazing!

    recently i’m stuck as well.
I do not have any inspiration.
I’ve stop taking photograph for almost a month, the last roll of film that I load into the camera two month ago still sitting inside the camera x_x

I know what you mean about feeling a little stuck sometimes. Ida’s idea is a gem for sure and I’d love to see what you come up with if you do decide to try it out. Your black and white photographs are really beautiful and that top one is gorgeous!

Hey Leila! I know exactly what you mean… I am very much stuck in my routines as well. I haven’t even been taking any new photos lately. Work’s been crazy since we’re about to start Legislative Session… and I just started one online class, since I can’t take any night classes this semester cause of work. I feel like such a boring person with no excitement in their life… just work and school… =(

    you captured the waves beautifully.

have you thought about taking up sewing or knitting (if you don’t already know how)? still in the creative vein, but something new… i’m on the look out for a knitting class or beginner book to get on that resolution!

love these photos! the coast is so inspiring.
i know what you mean about the boredom in routines…it’s funny how we don’t notice the repetitiveness of life until we’re knee-deep in it. i can’t wait for a change of scenery soon…maybe i’ll start taking more pictures again…been in a rut :(

Beautiful images. And yes, thought that design sponge project was a great one. January initially starts with me feeling up beat and full of determination to do new things, try new things, but the grey skies and damp weather often find me retreating into comfort zones. I think a new course sounds like an excellent idea, keep meaning to sign up for something myself!
