Those little chicks! Elliott’s parents raise chickens in their backyard, and I miss them being that small. Age does not treat chickens well.

it’s true, they don’t age too well. when i was little, we had a project in school where we raised a little chick from when it was in it’s egg. i named it “chip” i think? anyway, i loved that little guy but then he started getting bigger and one day i came home from school and my mom said she gave it away. i was so sad! in retrospect, i totally understand my mom’s decision. she wanted it OUT. haha.
