Guatemalan Worry Dolls

According to legend, Guatemalan children tell one worry to each doll, then they go to bed at night and place dolls under their pillow. In the morning the dolls have taken their worries away.

I need to try this!

    jason- my mom gave them to me when i was little, too. i found them at the flea market for .50 and had to get them! i too was a miniature collector : ).

    I’ve had a little box of them on my nightstand for years and years, but I’ve never actually told them my worries. I need to try it…maybe I’ll get some sleep! : )

    Oh, I used to have some of these when I was a teenager. It worked quite well actually !

    nalen – it worked perfectly fine until around mmmmmm 1pm? haha. maybe there’s a time limit on them.
