In the middle of figuring out holiday plans. : ) 6-7 day’s off in Dec!

See you Monday, I’m going on some photo adventures this weekend and finishing work today and tomorrow.

I picked up a Clare Vivier clutch on Sunday from Mohawk General Store. I’ve actually been in need of a clutch for some time now. We’ve gone to a few dinners in the past few months and all I could find to put my stuff in, was a beat up brown purse I found at the Rose Bowl Flea Market. I have to admit, I have a hard time splurging on clothes and shoes and bags. Cameras and film are a lot easier for me to buy for some reason- I end up bidding and winning things on EBAY and never feel an ounce of guilt. Anyway, the point IS: I love this clutch! I’ve been eyeing Clare Vivier’s bags and clutches for a while and finally decided that, YES. I wanted it. I needed it. So here it is, and it’s going to stay with me for a long time.

In other news: It’s a beautiful day here. Deep blue skies and a slight chill in the air! My favorite kind of weather..

Last night I got into the Halloween spirit and watched Creepshow (the first one) on Netflix Instant. It was one of my favorite horror shows as a kid, which is quite twisted but I loved it and still do.

Giant pinecone

I had a good weekend. Picked up a clutch and top (feat. in photo) from Mohawk General Store, had dinner w/ my mom’s side of the family, down in Orange County, went down to Marina Del Rey, Ordered pizza and watched reruns of Seinfeld, tried a Japanese restaurant near our apt and took a little drive to get some air.

A song.

San Francisco 2008

Need to make this happen guys. There are awesome people in each place!

I also put up another wedding on my wedding blog: Megan + Ben

I’ll be back on Monday with photos from the weekend. I’m making it a point to shoot anything, even if it may be just simple little things outside the house.

Have a great weekend : )

Old photos from the La Brea Tar Pits.

I’ve been too busy to develop or take any photos lately, so looking back has been this week’s theme. Hope everyone is having a good week, I’m watching the rain fall from my desk and dreaming about driving up to the mountains, renting a little cabin, relaxing with Ron and drinking a cup of hot chocolate on a cold Autumn day. A girl can dream…

Spent some time looking back in the archives and came across these photos I took in Northern California, during the fall of 2008. We drove down to have Thanksgiving dinner w/ Ron’s siblings, then took some time off and visited a few wineries and drove down to San Francisco.

On another note: I posted some photos from a day-after shoot I did a month or so ago.

Have a great Tuesday. It’s really gloomy here and the leaves are starting to change and fall.

I finally got a chance to use my Instax outdoors. We took a little drive on Saturday in the rain and ended up on a hill, overlooking the foggy city. It was nice to get out of the house and drive with my hand out the window, feeling the rain. Ron’s still sick so we took it easy and I made curry and rice + gyoza at home. We ate at le pain quotidien in the morning. I had a tomato and avocado omelette with gruyere- it was so yummy!

Found this song on my old ipod.

Where I live (on an old globe)

It’s finally Friday! Have a good weekend and I will definitely try to do the same. I’m getting out of the house and hoping to shoot some film.

Been playing with the idea of making some notecards but am trying to find a good place. Maybe I’ll give a few away, IF I end up even making them. We’ll see, it could be a fun mini project.

Leaving this week with a funny video.

Just working on edits again, all day long. Watching the olive trees outside my window, blow in the this warm afternoon breeze. It’s feeling so nice, I wish I could go out and play.

Can’t wait for the weekend.
