I’ve been really busy this past week, sorry for taking really long to return emails. I’m getting to everything tonight and tomorrow! I can’t wait to be settled into the new place and start working from there.

Took that sewing class on Saturday. It was really refreshing to learn something new and also hilarious because I was the only person (aside from another guy) who was over the age of 12 taking the class! Little girls were sewing circles around me, and one girl that had already taken the class, made herself a tote by the time we were all finished. It was funny.

Ron went to his brother’s bachelor party in Vegas this weekend, so I had the apt to myself. I just sat around watching trashy reality shows and a few random movies on Netflix, one being “BIG” with Tom Hanks. I was reliving my 80′s childhood : ).

I need to go shopping this week for a wedding outfit. I’m photographing a wedding on Saturday and the outfit I normally wear is ruined from the last wedding I shot. I always want to wear a dress but know that it would be a terrible idea to do so, especially if I’m getting down and dirty on the ground. Thinking about something like this, is it good enough? But no heels. Then what? Yikes, I’m not sure but I guess I’ll figure it out before the middle of the week.

Getting ready for the weekend. We’re visiting our new apartment tonight, to take measurements and figure out what changes we want. Also, I’m taking a sewing class tomorrow! Really excited and a little nervous because I don’t even know how to thread a needle! Hahaa. Obviously this class is thee most basic class out there, but I’m really looking forward to learning something I know nothing about. Eee! So exciting.

This song has been on repeat for weeks and weeks. Sometimes I play it and pretend we’re taking long drives through Europe, visiting the cliffs of dover and staring up at some foreign sky. OH GOD! One day. I want to make it happen, eventually.

Guatemalan Worry Dolls

According to legend, Guatemalan children tell one worry to each doll, then they go to bed at night and place dolls under their pillow. In the morning the dolls have taken their worries away.
