-Craving a margarita, preferably in a cactus shaped glass.
-Counting down to a mini vacation (for our 2nd year wedding anniversary!)
Off to make a late dinner. Have a good Wednesday night and Thursday morn.
I was hoping to take a bunch of photos this past weekend, but ended up working both days. No complaining here though, I’m glad to have work, period.
So, it’s a bit gloomy today. The sky is covered in one giant cloud and there’s a slight chill, seeping through the cracks in my windows. I’ve been listening to a lot of music again. For a while, I was sitting around working and driving w/ no music. Do you ever get that way? Nothing sounds good except silence? I may be a little weird.
Well anyway, here’s a few older songs that I’ll never get tired of:
Frankie Karl & The Dreams – I’m So Glad
Sandra Wright – I Come Running Back
Bobby Reed – The Time Is Right For Love
Ronnie McNeir – in Summertime
Photos above are of my favorite neighborhood coffee shop. I like sitting around, drinking a coffee and feeling as though I’ve been transported to another city and time.
Ps- Was it just me, or was Monday EXTRA EXTRA long? Hm…
Put together some photos I took at the pool last week. Right now, I’m stuck inside, enjoying the sun from my windows while looking at pool photos. It’s a bit torturous but I’m staying positive for the weekend.
These are from last night’s game down in Anaheim. Peanuts and hot dogs w/ peppers and sauerkraut, sodas and garlic fries, obnoxious fans, fights and fireworks. Wow! What a night it was.
Today I’m fighting a migraine and don’t have any medicine for it. Thinking of heading down to the store to pick some up, but driving makes my world, on a migraine headache, so much worse for some reason. Any remedies for these things?
Damon And Naomi – The Mirror Phase
The verdict’s in: Stuffed bell pepper was really good! I might take my friend, Lauren’s advice and use turkey meat next time instead of beef. I always seem to feel a little heavy and sick after eating beef nowadays. Maybe it’s age…
Here’s the recipe again in case anyone wants to try. It’s not hard at all, obviously if I made it, anyone can.
Also, check out this short video of Robert Crumb if you get a chance. Rather interesting.
It’s finally Friday, have a great weekend!
Ps-A song for Friday
I went to the market, really looking forward to picking up some blueberries. NO BLUEBERRIES! I’m sad. Instead, I got a bunch of strawberries and some oranges. Ever since our lil’ trip to Temecula for berry picking, i’ve been craving blueberries and can’t get them off my mind.
Trying a stuffed bell pepper recipe tonight, not sure how it’s gonna turn out but i’ll let you know the verdict, tomorrow. Wish me luck : )
Went through my Spring photos and decided to post a few.
1. Self in the mirror w/ Rolleiflex
2. Ron + Daisy (Laguna Beach)
3.Hotel bible I found
4. SX-70 w/ my polaroids from ‘Roid Week
Also, I forgot to post this. I was featured here a few weeks ago by
©14′STANDARD, whose photos I absolutely loovee.
Was also thinking about looking up a recipe for stuffed bell pepper. Has anyone made this before? It looks amazing.
Have a nice night, I’m gonna take a bath and read. G’night.
Ron came home with flowers last night. I put them on my desk this morning so that the sun will cover it in light by around 3pm. Thank you, Ron xoxo
