How was your weekend? Relaxing? I hope so.

For me, I did a lot of relaxing. I took a few naps and cooked some okinawa-style soba, then went and got some pinkberry yogurt down at the Americana, in Glendale. Just nice to get out of the house for a little bit.

Today I worked a little and watched a lot of television. At night we went to one of my favorite restaurants and enjoyed a nice little night over good food and drinks. Usually when we eat here, I get the lasagna bolognese. I figured, why not switch it up tonight and get something else. Ordered the penne roast vegetables with tomato and basil. It was amazing! I can’t stop thinking about it, and the best part is that I saved 1/2 of it for leftovers. It was a huge portion. I also have to add that, they have a really good garden vinaigrette salad! I would eat it everyday for the rest of my life if I had the chance, but will probably never find out the secret recipe.

Now we’re tired and tomorrow is Monday. Ohhhhhh Mondays…

At least I have those leftovers to look forward to : )

What a week. I feel like i’ve been cooped up in this apartment for months! Also, feels like i’ve aged 10 years in one month, for some reason. The good news is: TODAY IS SATURDAY! I’m enjoying a nice afternoon relaxing and going for a walk with my husband (later).

Found these Cherry Blossoms out in a park the other day. They were so pretty and all the little petals were falling from the sky like pink snow.

Some news: I just finished my wedding photography website! Finally. So happy to share it with you all. Click here for the site and here for the blog.

Now that all those crazy html/dreamweaver headaches are out of the way, I can concentrate more on learning how to cook. Trying to eat better. More vegetables, less meat and fatty food.

Enjoy your weekend, friends!

Finally got around to posting a few more photos from our Arizona trip. This was actually at the hotel we stayed at, right out side of our room. From our balcony, you could see the campfire that stays lit all night. You can even go out, sit around and roast flavored smores over the fire w/ a bunch of strangers! How fun. Unfortunately, we didn’t end up doing that. We were too tired from the baseball game we went to, earlier that day. Both of us got a bad sunburn and I’m now left with a strange farmer tan.

I’ve been gone a lot lately. Sorry if i’ve been a bad contact/friend! I’ve just been working on my site and setting everything up for months and am happy to say that everything is almost done! I’m really excited to get things moving and show you the things we’ve been working on and planning for a really long time. : )

Aside from websites, html, css headaches, emailing technical support teams and trouble shooting back and forth- I’m working on designs for my husband’s company, BAYVI. Here’s something I did a few months ago: LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND(click on the photo to make bigger). We custom make the t-shirt blanks from scratch. Measure the sleeves, neck, body length and width and test out different washes. It’s amazing all the little details that go into something so simple looking.

On another note: Ordered this cute vintage letterpress necklace for my sister’s birthday! It’s so cute, I wanted to keep it for myself. Hope you liked it, Nicole! xoxo

+ Before I go, here’s a song I’m really liking: Chew Lips-Slick

Have a good weekend, everyone.

Back from Arizona! It was such a nice and much needed time away from the city. The hotel’s colors were so lovely and soft. Everything matched perfectly, from the tables and chairs, to the cactuses, sand and sky. I have so much love for this palette.

More tomorrow. I’m gonna read my new book and try to sleep early tonight. G’night, world. Zzz.

P.S-Also trying to figure out how to add links to the side of my page. Hopefully figure it out tomorrow.

These two photos are from the other day when we took that one hour drive to the mountains. We stopped to get a coffee here, but they were closed. Ended up just walking around in the snow and admiring all that white goodness.

Tonight we ate at Pizzeria Mozza, with my husband and his two brothers. His older brother was in town for business so we met up for an early dinner and dropped him off at the airport on our way home. Nice relaxing night. I can’t stop thinking about how good the food was!

In other news: We’re taking a little road trip tomorrow and will be back on Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying some time away, relaxing without our computers. I can’t wait! I forgot to pick up film today, but have a little stashed away in my fridge so that will have to do.

Hope everyone has a great remainder of the week! : ) Leaving you with a link to a trailer. A love story by Roy Andersson. I really want to see this.
